Moms need cash many times. Affiliate Marketing - What is it?
Affiliate Marketing is simple. Find someone or some company that has a product. They will allow you to market their product and they will pay you a commission if you help them sell the product. Like I said - it's simple.
Usually, no website is required and no money is required. Just effort on your part.
Ahhh - and there's the rub - the Effort with a Capital E. It does take some work. Moms need cash and can do it. Sorry to tell you this but there has never, ever been a fortune made without work. Work is where value comes from and if you are not willing to do it, you will NEVER make money on the internet.
But - there IS some Good News for you...
There are ways to Focus and Lazer tune your work so that it produces maximum results. What are they?
1) Find an affiliate product that is selling well. This is very important because if the product has a poorly performing sales page then you can send hundreds of people to the sales site and get no results. The first BEST step is to find something that is in high demand. With the recent gas price increases, one of the highest performing products was something called "Run your Car on Water".
It's not doing so good any more because the price of gas has come back down to about a buck fifty. But when it was close to or over $4/gallon, the sales of the product took off like wildfire.
Moms need cash and have the following question: how do you find a product like that one that is ripe?
One way is to go to Google and find "Google Trends" - you'll find it in the "other" category. Trends will tell you what the current hottest searches are on Google. If people are searching for it, there is an immediate and NOW interest in the topic. If you can find a product that matches that topic, you have found a money maker.
2) Market the Product Using PPC ads - BUT WAIT! simply throwing up an ad on AdWords is a recipe for a huge credit card bill. You have to design your ads to EXACTLY match the search terms. If you do this right, your cost per click will be lower than all of your competition. This part is the real "secret" to pay per click marketing.
Moms need cash and need a different ad group for every "family" of keywords that you are bidding on. For example, if the keyword was "how to make money online" or "moms need cash" if the case, then your ad must say How to make money online at least twice in the body of the ad AND if you can repeat it even more, all the better. Also, you could use other keywords in the same "family" or ad group like online money, or make money online, moms need cash.
In addition, the landing page that the prospect arrives at should be loaded with "how to make money online" or "moms need cash" if this is the case. Doing these two things will increase your "Quality Score" and decrease your cost per click on AdWords. You will get a higher ad ranking for less than your competition.
"Make Money Fast on the Internet" or "moms need cash" would be a totally different family or adgroup as would "promote affiliate products". Both of these would require separate adgroups or families of ads and different landing pages that are optimized for those keyword strings.
One Secret here: it takes about 3 days for the ad campaign to "level out" and settle down and find it's ranking so be prepared to wait a few days for optimal results. Most people quit after a day or so because they have bid too high to start with. If you have optimized your ad and your landing page, you can bid much lower and just wait a few days for the results.
3) Use Tracking Codes - without them, you have no idea which keywords are producing the sales. It's like shooting in the dark. Sure, you may hit something now and then but you have no idea which shot hit its mark. In essence, you are just wasting bullets.
With tracking codes, you know exactly which keywords result in sales and which ones do not. With this information, you can select the adgroups and even the keywords within the adgroups that perform the best like "moms need cash".
